Radar Tyres is partnering with its brand ambassador Jodi Ewart Shadoff and both will be donating $100 for every Birdie that Jodi makes during her tournaments in October. This donation will be in addition to Radar’s current minimum pledged amount for 2020.

TRAVERSE CITY, MI – October 1st, 2020  – Omni United, through its flagship brand, Radar Tyres announced that it is partnering with its brand ambassador and LPGA golfer, Jodi Ewart Shadoff for its October program “Birdies for BCRF”. This program aims to raise meaningful funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) through its partner Play for P.I.N.K. During October, which is officially recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness month, Jodi is pledging to donate $100 for every birdie that she makes in her tournaments. The final donation amount will be matched by Radar. This donation will be in addition to Radar’s current pledge of funding a minimum of 1,000 hours of breast cancer research this year.

The Birdies for BCRF program is run through BCRF’s partner organization, Play for P.I.N.K., a grassroots organization dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research through sporting and lifestyle events, donating 100% of all proceeds to its sole beneficiary, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Play for P.I.N.K. currently encompasses 300 tournaments across 30 states, with over 30,000 golfers, guaranteeing that “Birdies for BCRF” will get broad and targeted exposure. To date, they have raised over $62 million and currently supports 23 scientists at leading academic medical institutions around the world.

“I am once again proud to be joining my efforts with Radar Tyres in supporting and advancing the mission of BCRF. I will be carrying my pink golf bag and gear as a symbol of hope and courage in honour of the breast cancer community. I hope to get as many birdies as possible so we can collectively donate more money to fund lifesaving breast cancer research,” said Jodi Ewart Shadoff, LPGA Golfer and Brand Ambassador Radar Tyres. “I have always been impressed with the brands approach of making the tyre world more accessible and exciting for women drivers. I am proud to be sponsored by Omni United and Radar Tyres.”

“Breast cancer is a cause that we have been supporting for close to a decade now. We partnered with BCRF as we have always believed in giving back to our communities.
