Radar, LPGA pro raising funds again for breast cancer research

International tyre distributor Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd., in conjunction with its Radar Tyres brand ambassador Jodi Ewart Shadoff, are continuing their “Birdies for BCRF” initiative in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through its Play for P.I.N.K. partner.

Through this program, Ms. Ewart Shadoff will be donating $100 for every birdie she makes in her tournaments during the month of October.

“I am proud to once again partner with Omni United and Radar Tyres in supporting and advancing the mission of BCRF,” she said.

“Through Birdies For BCRF, I hope to be able to bring some additional exposure to this great organization through the LPGA and raise some additional funds for critical life-saving research.”

The program is run through BCRF’s partner organization, Play for P.I.N.K., a grassroots organization dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research through sporting and lifestyle events, donating 100% of all proceeds to its sole beneficiary, the BCRF.

The Play for P.I.N.K. initiative has raised over $57 million to date and encompasses 300 tournaments across 30 states, with over 30,000 golfers.

“Breast cancer is a cause that has always been close to our heart and we will continue to contribute and support the mission of BCRF and the great work they do,” GS Sareen, founder and CEO of Omni United, said.

“We are proud of the great work being done by The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Play For P.I.N.K. and our partners who have jumped on board to support the cause over the years. Thank you Jodi for your continued support!”

Omni United and Radar Tyres started supporting the BCRF in 2011, donating close to $1.16 million to the foundation in that time.
